Never in all my years, well basically only one year since we conceived and implemented Mobile Spinach, did I think we’d be able to get away with offering a discount like this:
Good Vibrations-Making the World a Sexier Place- Free vibrator w/ $25 purchase!
It is now far and away one of the most popular deals we have on our site. I love to think of Mobile Spinach members as jovial, life-loving beings who all have a few things in common:
• Mobility
• Saving money
• Not giving up but bargaining
• Expecting luxury (meaning living how they wish)
• Enjoying technology and making it work for them!
Now we know that we all have something else in common- sex.
Now that Jersey Shore has finally ended being tan might be making a come back. Just try not to be orange and have a barbed wire tattoo.
Get ready for summer w/ Radical Tan $20 for 1 week unlimited UV tans + 30% off any future packages
The sun has finally broken through the ‘hazy shade of winter’ now so it won’t look suspicious if you are a gorgeous hue of summer-wonderful in midwinter and you’re passport hasn’t been stamped by a country ending in a vowel.
Time to get over to one of Radical Tan’s two locations:
255 King Street in Mission Bay
Or
290 DeHaro Street in Potrero Hill
Radical Tan is offering Mobile Spinach members a week of UV tanning in Lotus, Montego Bay or Tropical tanning beds for only $20.
Also, during your week of $20 unlimited tanning, if you decide to purchase a tanning package to use in the future, you’ll receive 30% off! This is only valid during your week of unlimited tanning.
Slide into one of Radical Tan’s luxurious beds and catch some UV rays.
I’ve been asking my friends and relatives, sometimes one in the same, what exactly they would actually use a Mobile Spinach discount on. The reply was returned unanimous: drinks…well, drinks and food but mostly drinks. With this in mind I’ve been prowling the streets and pitching Mobile Spinach to many of the watering holes I frequent as well as many of those I do not frequent.
We’ve landed a few accounts and I really want them to work as my monthly self-appropriate allowance for alcohol is one aspect of my budget that just doesn’t seem to recede during difficult economic times. Here are a few Mobile Spinach deals we’ve landed:
Infusion Lounge

White T mock-up Butter is new on our roster this week. They’ve yet to offer a promotional deal for strictly Mobile Spinach members but they are promoting their Sunday night sing-a-long karaoke night. Kaeoke may be a Japanese phenomenon but I have a feeling it works really well in a trailer sung by tornado bait!

So I’m trying Laundry Locker for the first time today after work. It seemed like a massive plastic or online hassle to log on, sign up, but I think once I do it I’ll be all about the “LL.” Also, Mobile Spinach has is offering $20 in free dry cleaning right now through Laundry Locker. I really just wanted to drop off my clothes at the local cleaners but this takes much less time and it’s free for lord’s sake.
Here’s our deal:

I love the after work scene. Part of my motivation to work hard and accomplish my daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals is to earn that first whiskey among my cohorts. I mean I may still have that whiskey if I don’t have a seriously productive day but only with a self made promise of harder work next week. Regardless, the scene is always fun and Palio d’Asti has a great bar and even better food. This week only Mobile Spinach is offering:
Palio D'Asti offers an exclusive 30% off dinner this week only!

One of my favorite all time parties in San Francisco is the Wednesday Qool party at 111 Minna. I don’t always have the best time in the world there but I think it is the best cross section of the San Francisco social scene around. Art, music and booze are combined in one $5 cover charged, high ceiling-ed manifesto of our little burg. So now part of the Shop SF campaign Mobile Spinach has a dollar off drinks at 111 Minna. I will be leading a Mobile Spinach Team expedition to the Qool party ASAFP.
So last week I was a serious downer. Talking about how “lame” NYE was and that is was “amateur night”. Sorry if I offended you. I’ve been trying to remember all the good times I’ve had on NYE. Of course the only real memories I have are of NYE’s long past that seem to improve as time sails further away from the actual occurrence.
In the 90s as we walked from a motel on Lombard through the Broadway Tunnel we threw Ryan’s shoes into the middle of the tunnel when he had removed them to fish out a pebble. Then, as a drunken sort of Karma, I started to bleed from blisters on my heels and had to ditch the new loafers and walk around in sogged out socks all night. It was a bummer but a surprise I didn’t end up walking into the emergency room on a permanent layer of broken glass. It still ended up in a good way.
Some time after that is when I began placing more emphasis on NYE that it actually deserved.
If you use a swear or a racial slur enough it begins to lose its weight and meaning, at least for the user. If I can do the same for NYE, I’m sure it will be good times.
