Miami Male
You all know why we live in Miami-love the warmth and the fun-there is too much to do! I’m from NY but visited here a few years ago and decided to take up residence. More my style but can be the same speed if you know where to step.

If you are like me then you like to go out for dinner and brunch on the weekend every chance you get! I love tasting the city…in a few ways.

I also like to look great where ever I go so I do shop too much but I get great deals as I am friends with a lot of fashion industry people. I like to look good but not over do it…so I have a lot of classical elements.

Addicted to wine and stiff drinks-I usually go out Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and drink way too much and end up in some girls bed that I don’t want to see again. Not because she is unattractive (although the great odb did say if you can’t f* and 10 at least you can do is F* 5 2’s) but because when I hear “I never do this, you are special” that means there is only one thing on my mind.

I just like to meet people and like the thrill of the hunt-I’m not committing to anything but myself these days.

I work out a lot, so I am in pretty good shape, I have been taking muay thai for the last 4 years…had some fights but I would rather keep my nose.

On the weekends, its gym, brunch, walk around the cita with friends or a date and do it all over again at night.

I'd love to know where you hang out and what you love to do! Email mobilespinach@mobilespinach.com businesses that you like and things you like to do and we will do our best to get you discounts from your favorite places.

Frivolous Luxury is So 2010

January 6th, 2010, 1:09 p.m.

New website people! Check it out at www.mobilespinach.com and find yourself a Miami deal. Also, is there anyone out there that likes to spend money on frivolous items such as large bar bills, overly elaborate dinners, recreational sports reserved for the wealthy? Can we please be in touch ASAP so you can tell me exactly what these things are that you enjoy? Then I can approach the starving vendors of these high priced luxuries and offer them Mobile Spinach deals so we can all enjoy the things we used to before our econ went lips-down in the gutter.

One of the most sought after entrances in town this year was The 50th Floor Club at the Viceroy (http://viceroymiami.com/cuisine/club.html). Though it has been scheduled all year to become a members only club (which will make gaining access all the more impossible) it’s still tough to get in. I do have one connection though and will actually be there for NYE!

The real estate market should take a suggestion from Mobile Spinach and utilize our database to spread the word if not the joy of owning property in this day and age of small tipping and big Mobile Spinach savings.

Senor Pizzas? Extra anchovies?

December 9th, 2009, 1:16 p.m.

So we here from our colleagues in San Francisco that there are chefs Twittering certain locations around the city where they will be cooking and serving once specific dish for a limited amount of time. Chez Roach Coach? Sort of…well Miami is blasting back with Latin Burger and Taco (http://latinburger.com/). Supposedly this is the gourmet equivalent of the San Francisco chef carts that are getting so much buzz. It’s worth a check out.

Searching for Deals on a Full Stomach

December 2nd, 2009, 10:42 a.m.

I really want to score some more Mobile Spinach deals around Miami so at least I can use them. I mean I’m out almost every night and must stop spending money. So I’ll keep trying to land some more deals for MYSELF and in the mean time keep writing about places I plan on soliciting to be Mobile Spinach clients.

The Stone Grill (www.stonegrill95.com) cooks their steaks on lava rocks and is backed by some serious nightlife and hospitality names. Check it out, I will be.

Underground Layer

November 22nd, 2009, 2:52 p.m.

I’m not one for being seen walking the proverbial red carpet these days. Keeping status a secret and profiles low seem the most polite and entertaining way to entertain myself and my friends. What more does one need? I would like to take myself and all my friends to B-Bar at The Betsy in South Beach though (www.thebetsyhotel.com). I don’t believe it’s even open yet or you can get in without staying at the hotel but it’s worth a shot, or four for my friends.

Meat Treat

November 13th, 2009, 6:46 p.m.

Between football games and eating my face off during the holidays I am always in need of food that is given to me; presented in a feastly manner. Miami Grill Catering (http://www.miamigrillcatering.com/) is supposed to deliver some unreal ribs and other meats from the grill. This may be the deciding factor in getting me to have a Super Bowl party.

Bikini’s and Choco

November 9th, 2009, 7:25 p.m.

So there is something called Nocturnal Parties on the Beach I keep hearing about on Miami Beach. Something like 150 set up events scattered all over the beach. Anyway, keep you eyes out. I’ll be at Nikki Beach for a swim wear fashion show (http://www.nikkibeach.com/miami/events.php). It’s combined with Godiva chocolates and I heard ladies love both.

What do I do? I race Ferraris.

October 28th, 2009, 5:12 p.m.

Last week the Ferrari-Maseratti dealership opened in Ft. Lauderdale with a little cocktail reception complete with swim suit models and all modeling, yes, you bet, swim suits…namely bikinis. Anyway, I didn’t get to go but I can see swim suit models on the beach any day of the week. What I wanna do is drive one of those sexy beasts on the show room floor….yes, the cars. I am in the process of what it might take to weasel myself a test drive. I can use paddle shifters from my valet days in college so I’m a step ahead…maybe if I wear and ascot. Hummmm.

Atlantic Catch

October 21st, 2009, 2:56 p.m.

I think it’s a travesty to just have crab in your sushi and on Christmas Eve. A massive crab feed is always a great excuse to get together and so much more inventive than a BBQ. This football season, instead of roasting red meat, though that will be the “turf” aspect of the meal, crab and lobster will be playing all four quarters. George Stone Crab (http://georgestonecrab.com/home.html) offer seafood delivery to your home. George is my go to guy this season for sure.

sorry, no deals to show here... Home
