Movies are called “films” in this town and watching a film in the right setting is a sign of success for many people in “the business.” So, usually private screen rooms are mounted in homes belonging to people who can afford the luxury of a private theatre. The next logical step down from a private screening room and a step up from the Arclight is Gold Class Cinemas (www.goldclasscinemas.com) where you might be paying upwards of $30 for a flick but with more perks than frozen JR Mints and soggy popcorn.

The Request Lines are Open

Next Tuesday is another installment of Eats & Beats at The Hudson (www.thehudsonla.com) and I am damn ready. The parties thus far have consisted of good food, great people and top tier music and I suspect that next Tuesday will be the same. Here are the details:

We are proud to announce the return of San Francisco's hottest dinner party series 'Eats & Beats' to The Hudson in Hollywood.

Do to the success of our LA premiere at The Hudson last month we are back and we're bigger & better than ever. The Hudson has a brand new Head Chef Greg DiMichiel and he's put together an AMAZING prixe fixe menu for all of us!

For just $30 you get your choice of 3 courses specifically designed and prepared for this event by chef DiMichiel. We are also going to have some wine and cocktail specials for you all evening. More to come on that later.

As for music - well that's completely up to you! Every single person that has a reserved seat at The Hudson next Tuesday for Eats & Beats is allowed to request one song to be played during dinner.

You get one song request per seat in your reservation and you must email seantduff@gmail.com with the artist, album, & track title.

So get your crew together, make a reservation, find out what they want to hear, and shoot me an e mail with all your requests - we know you are all bad asses so we will honor ALL requests no matter how obscure.
